Agronomy Plant Manager

Big Horn Co-operative Marketing Association, a progressive agricultural-based cooperative in Central Wyoming is looking for an Agronomy Plant Manger to join their team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Agronomy Plant Manager to oversee the operations of our agricultural facility specializing in plant production. The Agronomy Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, from personnel hiring and schedules to fertilizer blending and Invoicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for customer service and productivity.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage all activities related to plant operations
Day-to-Day management of personnel, hiring and firing
Fertilizer manufacturing and blending
Quality Control of product
Inventory control
Providing excellent customer service.
Record keeping
Invoicing
Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed

Qualifications

Post-secondary education beneficial
Ag background desired
Experience mixing/blending Ag chemicals or fertilizer beneficial
Good time management and productivity
Good communication skills
Comfortable in a rural setting required
Qualified individuals will meet the above requirements for this role and will have the ability to work in the U.S. without a company-sponsored visa.
